Lapland Holidays

The Lapland Santa Experience

Many people have dreamed of meeting Santa and now you actually can on a trip to Lapland. You can choose from a day trip to a full week in Lapland with short breaks – 2, 3 or 4 nights being the most popular choices. Flights to Lapland from the UK take around 3 and a half hours and if travelling on a designated Santa package flight the trip will of course will be Christmas themed and passengers and crew have a lot more fun than a typical flight. A typical day trip will start the moment you are on board and on arrival when stepping off the plane you may be lucky enough to meet Reindeer before travelling onto a Lapland resort for fun in the snow, festive food and a trip to Santa’s post office and workshop.

Taking a longer trip to Lapland means more time to relax and enjoy time with your family and also be able to try some of the many fun activities on offer such as sledging, husky rides, snowmobiles, ice fishing and more. Experienced skiers should also be able enjoy downhill and cross country skiing. In December in the Lapland region you also stand a good chance of seeing the Northern lights!
